River Fun on the 4th of July!!!!

Here are some pictures of the boys swinging from a rope into the river....i was a nervous wreck watching them do it, especially after they told me a boy broke his leg on this swing the weekend before!!!! I didnt take many pictures that weekend because my camera was dead, I forgot to charge the batteries :(

Happy 4th of July (7 days late) :)

Jason and I have both been off all week and it has been so nice! Last weekend for the 4th we went to Aunt Mary, Uncle Larry and Russells and we had a blast. Aunt Mary kept Landon Saturday while Jason, Russell, Uncle Larry and I went to the river and it was so relaxing...i soaked up the sun!! Later that day I layed out in the pool which was awesome (it has been at least 2 years since i have done that) and then we grilled out and Jason and Russell shot fireworks. Landon and I missed the fireworks because it was his bed time and I fell asleep too! Then Sunday we all went out on the boat and Landon had a great time playing in the water and on the beach. All in all it was a perfect 4th of July and we thank Aunt Mary, Uncle Larry, and Russell for having us! Tuesday I went shopping and Jason and Landon stayed home and played in the mud! Wednesday we took Landon to the buffalo park and zoo in Tupelo and we all had a blast (I will post pictures in another blog) and then that night we went to our friends house (Candice and Jeff) and ate dinner with them. We had a great time catching up! Thursday my nephew Coden came to stay with us and we did a little bit of everything including Chuck E Cheese. Friday we still had Coden so we went swimming and played outside and then that night we grilled for Krissie and Shawn which was fun to visit with them. Saturday I cleaned house all day and cleaned out my flower beds. Of course the week has flown by, but it has been a great week...Im sad it is almost over! I just wanted to give everyone a recap of our fabulous week since i havent blogged all week long, but hey i was on vacation!!! The next few blogs will include pictures ;)

Randomness (Since I am Totally Random)

We get groceries every weekend and if Landon is really good he gets to pick out something in the check out line....This week he picked a blue sucker! :)Now if we could just teach him that all suckers end.....Bless his heart he just didnt understand....

Sleepy Baby

This is Landon when he is sleepy.....LOL...I took these the other day before we left to go to TN...he was asleep before we pulled out of the driveway and he slept all the way there!

When he was smaller (barely walking) he would climb into the kitchen cabinets and play with the bowls, now that he is bigger he has moved on to something a little more spacious. Silly kid!

Happy Birthday Coden!!

Today is Coden's (my nephew) birthday!! He is 5 years old going on 15! LOL This past Saturday he had a monster truck birthday party and all the kids had a blast! My sister and brother in law sat up a slip and slide for the bigger kids and a pool for the babies. It was a very successful party! Here are some pics.... This is what his Momma and Daddy got him for his birthday.....Coden and Landon playing before the party starts....His yummy Monster Truck cake...Leah, Landon, and T.J. playing with the magnets.....Some of the kiddo's at the party.....This is his "credit card"....he got a gift card to toys r us and when he opened the card he yelled a CREDIT CARD.....lol This is what Jason and I got him....along with some clothes and glow in the dark undies!!!
