Just wanted to let you all know that Landon is now employed at
McDonalds (according to him). This was our conversation this morning....
Landon: "Is Daddy at work?"
Me: "Yes."
Landon: (crossing his arms) "I go work too!"
Me: "You do?"
Landon: "Uh huh" (shaking his head up and down with his arms still crossed)
Me: "Where do you work?"
Landon: "
Ummmm....McDonald's."
Me: "McDonald's?"
Landon: "Uh huh....I eat fries!"
Of course i started laughing because he was so serious. I instantly thought about my nephew,
Coden. He used to and still does come up with the most bizarre stories. It's so amazing how children have such creative imaginations!
A few of Landon's milestones as of recently are....
-he knows all his shapes
-he knows most of his colors (he has a hard time with green, black, and brown)
-he says thank you almost every time he should
-when you say thank you to him, he says your welcome
-he knows all of his animals and the sounds they make (when you ask him what a deer says he says boom boom...thanks mom! We will need to work on that one!)
-he knows the difference between hot and cold, rain and snow, night and day (he says good morning in the mornings and goodnight at night time:)
-he knows the difference in boys and girls (he knows that
chapstick is for boys and lipstick is for girls...heels, bras, jewelry etc. he knows is for girls)
-he talks in complete sentences 90% of the day and i am continually amazed at his vocabulary
-he has a FANTASTIC memory ( he was looking at a picture of
Mawmaw Duff on the fridge the other day and said
thats Mawmaw Duff...she lives in Columbus and we hardly see her, but he still remembers)
-he loves going to church and understands the concept of it (this past Sunday i picked him up at church and he said "Momma, i was praising the Lord"..I said "you were?" and he said "Amen!".
-He loves his family and friends more than anything and he talks about each of you all the time, as a matter of fact he calls each of you on his imaginary phone almost every night...especially Coco ;)
-He loves to be the center of attention (mostly the center of my attention) at all times which can be challenging and aggravating.
-The last thing for right now...he told me this morning he wanted a baby, so i asked him if he wanted a baby brother or a baby sister and he said he wants a baby
sitser! He'll have to take that up with Daddy ;)
